BIO

Originally hailing from Massachusetts and seasoned in the Florida electronic scene, NILL relocated to Portland, OR, in 2020, bringing a versatile and high-energy sonic identity to the Pacific Northwest. His journey behind the decks and in the studio began in 2016, cutting his teeth in Orlando’s competitive nightlife circuit.

The Sound

NILL’s production is a distinctive fusion of gritty dubstep/riddim influence and polished songwriting. By pairing his own original vocals with infectious melodic basslines and hard-hitting trap percussion, he bridges the gap between underground grime and mainstage catchiness. Over the past year, NILL has pivoted toward a heavy focus on bass music flips, reimagining popular tracks from both within the EDM sphere and across diverse genres like pop and R&B. By injecting his signature heavy-hitting style into familiar favorites, he has successfully expanded his reach—bridging the gap between casual listeners and die-hard bass heads.

Growth & Momentum

Since launching the solo project, NILL has maintained a prolific output of originals and collaborations with artists like Haven Woods and SPOONE. His recent remix of Olivia Dean’s "Man I Need" has sparked significant viral momentum, clocking over 50k views across TikTok and Instagram while steadily climbing the SoundCloud charts.

A veteran of the support circuit, NILL has built an impressive resume opening for a "who’s who" of dance music. His performance history spans premier venues and festivals, including Bridge City Block Party and Freaky Deaky.
